I’ve been playing music most of my life, and writing/recording it since I was a teenager. I recorded a solo EP in 2012 and recently have been making ambient music as The Humble Season.
I started writing songs at the age of 14, soon after I picked up a guitar for the first time. I continued playing the trumpet in my school band, jazz ensemble, and pit orchestra.
I had taken piano lessons for a few years as a kid as well, so I had a solid musical background growing up. When I was 14, I learned how to play the drums and started a band with my friends. For most of my teen years I played guitar, bass, and drums at my church and continued writing and recording my own songs.
In my late teens, I became more seriously interested in recording my own music. I did an apprenticeship at a recording studio in Philadelphia and started my own home studio with a Roland VS-880EX. I recorded my band’s music as well as my own for several years until switching to a DAW.
In 2012, I released my first solo EP, “Ready To Fall.” I recorded and mixed every song in my home studio. Soon after, I starting making ambient music and have been working as much music as I possibly can.
